It's easy to go to church and pretend that you've got it "all together" and I resented seeing other people that seemed so content in their walk with God, yet I was filled with turmoil. I was still a very young Christian living in very worldly ways, and this was causing me pain which I hid in shame, not knowing that Jesus loved me and wanted me to give it all up for Him, to stop looking at everybody else, and simply to surrender to Him:)

I've lived a life of rebellion, been doin' it all my way, and I don't care what you think, or what you say! Walked around with a chip on my shoulder, in defiance with a Cheshire grin. No one had an idea of the state I was in.
Look away from Jesus it will cause you pain ...
